How to Apply
We're so excited that you're interested in Catholic High! We accept students who are excited to live out our Franciscan mission of academic excellence, responsible leadership, and Christian community service. Our diverse school community affords our students exposure and understanding of cultural uniqueness.
We have provided you with a few detailed steps to make the high school application process easier for you and your family. Catholic High can't wait to review your application!
- Attend a Shadow Day – We welcome all 8th grade and high school transfer students on most school days from September through early December. All applicants are required to attend a Shadow Day to be considered for acceptance. Click the button below to register!
Register for a Shadow Day! - RSVP for Open House – Catholic High invites you to Open House on Saturday, October 21 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tour our beautiful campus, historic building, and speak with faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumnae. Learn how a Catholic High education transforms young women into responsible, reverent, empowered leaders.
Register for Open House! - Apply Online – All students must apply online for admission to the school. For best consideration for admission, submit your application by December 15, 2023. Please note that there is a $50 non-refundable application fee.
Submit your Catholic High Application! - Complete Additional Forms – You will need to submit a Records Release Form and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Referral Form directly to Catholic High. Please note: If your daughter attends an AOB elementary/middle school, these forms will be provided for you.
- Tuition Assistance Application (Optional) – Catholic High offers tuition assistance, which is need-based and must be applied for each year through FACTS. Families may apply beginning in early November by visiting factstuitionaid.com.
- Complete Secondary Program Applications (Optional)
- Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) – This test is a required component of your admission packet. You can take the HSPT at Catholic High on Saturday, December 2!
- Consider our Scholarships – The Catholic High School of Baltimore offers a number of merit-based scholarships to qualified students entering the ninth grade. Students who qualify for the top merit-based scholarships will be contacted in January for a special interview. Scholarships are renewed annually, as long as the scholar maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Admissions Interviews – Our faculty and staff would love to learn more about you before we make acceptance decisions! All applicants are required to sign-up for a scheduled Admissions Interview in January. The Enrollment Office will contact families in December to schedule your interview.
- Decision Letters & Emails – It’s the day you have been waiting for – Decision Day! All students who have a completed a Catholic High application will receive a decision letter. Letters are mailed on February 14, 2024 and emails will be sent on February 15, 2024.
