AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Appeal

The Catholic High School of Baltimore's Health Suite is in need of 3 new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The U.S. Food & Drug Administration describes an AED as, "a type of computerized defibrillator that automatically analyzes the heart rhythm in people who are experiencing cardiac arrest. When appropriate, it delivers an electrical shock to the heart to restore its normal rhythm."

These life-saving emergency medical devices cost $1,475 per unit. This includes the device, wall cabinet, carrying case and adult pads. Catholic High currently has 3 older models that were purchased in the late 1990’s.

Help us raise the funds to purchase 3 new AEDs to ensure the safety of everyone in our school community by making a donation below.
