Graduation Requirements

The Maryland State Department of Education requires a minimum of 21 credits for graduation from a Maryland secondary school. The Catholic High School of Baltimore requires satisfactory completion of at least seven credits each year of attendance. Students are required to take theology each year of attendance. All credit courses taken at TCHS must be passed to meet graduation requirements.

*The administration of The Catholic High School of Baltimore retains the right to make minor adjustments in credit requirements for graduation in situations where a student's accomplishment in a particular area may warrant it. In all cases, the requirements of the Maryland State Department of Education for Non-Public Schools will be met. The decision of The Catholic High School of Baltimore in these matters will be final.
