Dear Members of The Catholic High School of Baltimore Community,

It is with profound joy and a deep sense of optimism for our future that the Board of Trustees announces the appointment of Ms. Natalia Mistichelli '90 as the next President of The Catholic High School of Baltimore.

Following a comprehensive national search that drew a diverse pool of qualified candidates, Ms. Mistichelli emerged as the clear choice to lead our beloved institution. Her selection marks a significant milestone in our school’s storied history of empowering young women.

Visionary Leader for Our School

In her words, "I am committed to fostering a learning environment that challenges students to think critically, serve generously, and grow spiritually. My goal is to lead in a way that inspires young women to use their gifts boldly and faithfully in service to others and to the world."

Looking Ahead
Ms. Mistichelli will officially begin her tenure on July 1, 2026. In the coming months, there will be several opportunities for students, parents, alumnae, and faculty to meet our new President and hear firsthand about her vision for the "Green and Gold."

We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to the Search Committee for their tireless efforts over the past several months. Their dedication ensured that we found a leader who truly embodies the spirit of Catholic High.

The Board of Trustees believes that the leadership of Ms. Natalia Mistichelli as President, together with Mr. Scott Derosier as Principal and entire school staff, will cultivate a transformative educational experience preparing young women to reach their full potential while letting their "light shine" for others.

Please join us in offering Ms. Mistichelli a warm welcome to our community. We are confident that under her guidance, The Catholic High School of Baltimore will continue to be a beacon of excellence and a home where young women flourish.

While we celebrate a new era of excellence with Ms. Mistichelli, we remain profoundly grateful to Dr. Barbara D. Nazelrod '68 for guiding our young women with grace, wisdom, and an unwavering dedication to Catholic High. May St. Francis and St. Clare continue to guide our school and bless all in our Catholic High community.
