The Catholic High School of Baltimore is an independent college-preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. Since 1939 young women have benefited from the education they received at Catholic High.
Catholic High students become articulate in speech and writing, adept in the usage of technology, able to understand human culture through a study of humanities and the arts, and adept in those academic and social skills that promote team building and problem solving.
Catholic High sponsors an extracurricular activities program that aims to develop the student as a whole person and to challenge the student to responsible leadership. Along with extracurricular activities, Catholic High students have many different responsibilities and privileges that are integral components of the Catholic High community.
A part of our philosophy is to promote and encourage young women to participate in interscholastic competition and benefit from the advantages athletic competition can provide.
Catholic High has several different events to fit each and every students interests. From the Arts to STEM, and even to our Annual Wine Dinner for Alumnae, we've got it all.
