Summer Workshops
Summer at Catholic High
We are excited for another fun summer at Catholic High! Our Summer Workshops are designed for rising 6th-9th grade students to "sample" Catholic High's academic and athletic programs and offerings! We are also offering four Summer Workshops for current Catholic High students to prepare for the 2024 -2025 school year. Please note which workshops are required and highly recommended for current students.
The registration fee is set per workshop. For full day workshops, students must bring their own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided by TCHS!

Middle School Workshops
Art Workshop
June 10 - June 13 |
During the Art Workshop, students use various mediums to learn traditional artistic skills while also channeling their creativity through fun artistic activities. |
Dance WorkshopJune 24 - June 27 |
Join our current Catholic High dance students for a fun week of dancing! Dancers develop ballet, contemporary, and jazz techniques while playing improvisation and choreography games. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet our current and future TCHS dancers! |
Instrumental Music WorkshopJune 24 - June 27 |
Kick off the summer on a high note! Catholic High’s Instrumental Music Workshop allows students to grow musically in a enjoyable and welcoming environment. Students learn and rehearse a wide variety of music throughout the week. |
Middle School STEM WorkshopJune 24 - June 27 |
During the Biomedical portion of the workshop, students explore emergency medical practices, discuss proper nutrition, and learn about diagnostic tests including blood pressure and blood oxygen. Students also practice transporting and treating patients. During the Engineering portion of the workshop, students have the opportunity to build and launch model rockets, and solve multiple engineering design challenges during four action-packed days! |
Multi Sports ClinicJune 10 - June 13 |
Come be a part of sports fun with the Catholic High coaches and student athletes! Each participant has the unique opportunity to experience many of the different sports that Catholic High has to offer. |
Theatre WorkshopJune 10 - June 13 |
The Theatre Workshop is designed for performers to work on improv and character development. Actresses perform small scenes throughout the workshop to hone their skills. |
Vocal Music WorkshopJune 10 - June 13 |
Singers in the Vocal Music Workshop learn vocal techniques while exploring a variety of music! Students practice music concepts through notation, rhythm, and movement. Singers also focus on 2, 3, and 4 part harmony pieces adding performance skills and artistic expression. A group performance for family and friends is planned for the final day! |
TV Production & Film WorkshopJune 24 - June 27 |
Join the exciting world of TV & Film production. Students learn the art of storytelling through the use of video in addition to production basics that will assist them in conducting and recording interviews, writing scripts, and producing and editing a mini newscast. Students are required to have a smartphone with the ability to download the “Splice” app. This app is used to record and edit content. |
HSPT Prep WorkshopAugust 5 - August 8 |
Middle School students have the opportunity to work on test taking-strategies specific to ELA and mathematics skills that are addressed on the HSPT Entrance Exam. |
Current Student Workshops
Archangel WorkshopJune 17 & 18 and August 5, 6, & 7 |
Incoming TCHS freshmen in the Archangel Program are required to participate in June and August sessions of the Archangel Summer Workshop to prepare for the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. There is no fee for the workshop, but all incoming freshman are required to attend both sessions. |
Band WorkshopAugust 12 - August 15 |
Current and incoming TCHS students are required to attend the Instrumental Band Workshop before the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. The workshop gives incoming band members a chance to meet current members and rehearse a wide variety of music that the band will perform in the Fall. |
Color Guard WorkshopAugust 19 - August 23 |
Color Guard members and interested incoming students learn new color guard routines to help prepare them for the 2024-2025 school year. |
Incoming 9th Grade STEM Workshop
