Black History Month Presentation

Members of the Culture & Diversity Council presented during Common Homeroom on Tuesday, February 23 and Friday, February 26 in honor of Black History Month. Students in the council presented on a variety of topics including Black figures in history, culture, and music. Students also shared information about various Black owned businesses in Maryland.
The presentation also included information on the Black Lives Matter Movement and the purpose of this global movement.
Students are encouraged to fill out an application if they wish to be on the Student Diversity Council. Students must submit their application to Sr. Ann Dutrow, OSF by March 15.
